對於用香薰油療癒暗瘡，多數人都是用茶樹油(tea tree oil)的，但我覺得茶樹油本身頗刺激性強的，弄不好還會令到暗瘡發炎及發大的，雖然茶樹油本身可消炎。 為了解決這問題，可試用茶樹油＋薰衣草油來塗暗瘡的，這樣的話性質會較溫和的。
我的做法是：若暗瘡隱伏，要出又不出來的話又如何呢？ 這時便雖要用另一種油來處理，讓暗瘡消退或發出來；待瘡發出來後又用另一種精油處理。 這做法很見效。 若暗瘡出血流濃時，處理方法又會不同的 （即用油又會不同），這樣才不會留scars。此處先賣個關子，容後再談。
若臉上因暗瘡而留scars的話，又要用不同的精油或用精油做成的膏來處理的。 我本人覺得用現代科技＋香薰療法來處理暗瘡疤痕是最有效的。 所以不必忌諱這是否天然療法，能治好病便是好的，只要沒有不良的後遺症的話。
